On March 16, witnessed by classification societies such as Lloyd's Register (LR), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and China Classification Society (CCS), as well as representatives from shipowners and shipyards, the first WinGD 6X72DF-A-1.0 ammonia-fuel low-speed engine built by CSSC Engine successfully passed the Functional Integration Test (FIT) and Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and was delivered. As the first ammonia-fuel marine engine officially delivered as a commercial product in China, it fills a gap in the application of zero-carbon marine power in the country.
