HD Hyundai's shipbuilding subsidiary, HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, has once again experienced a major safety accident

A fatal fall accident occurred on July 9 at the Ulsan plant of HD Hyundai M&S, a subsidiary of HD Hyundai Heavy Industries (formerly HD Hyundai Mipo, acquired in late 2025), according to an official notice from HD Hyundai Heavy Industries. The worker was conducting maintenance work on a quayside bridge crane at the time of the incident and fell from an elevated position, resulting in his death.
